ALOGIANS, a denomination in Asia Minor in the second century; so called because they denied the divine \lambda \omicron \gamma \omicron \sigma, or word, and the writings of St. John, attributing them to Cerinthus. But Dr. Lardner denies the existence of such a sect, as not being mentioned by any contemporary writer.[1]
