SHIMNILON. A Lamanite city in the land of Nephi; its locality is not given. Many of its citizens were converted to the Lord under the teachings of the sons of Mosiah (Alma, 23:12, 13), laid down their arms and migrated to the land of Jershon (B. C. 78).
