YULE. (Lieutenant, 1826.)

James Yule entered the Navy 20 Nov. 1813; passed his examination in 1819; was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant 21 Oct. 1826; obtained an appointment in the Coast Guard 21 July, 1835; and on 31 Oct. 1840 was transferred from that service to the Monarch 84, Capt. Sam. Chambers, with whom he continued employed on the Home and Mediterranean stations, as Second and First Lieutenant, until paid off at the close of 1843.
