Macbride, John David, s. John David, of Plympton, Devon, arm. (admiral). Exeter Coll., matric. 28 March, 1795, aged 16; B.A. 1799, fellow 1800-5, M.A. 1802, B.C.L. & D.C.L. 1811, assessor of the Chancellor's Court 1812, lord almoner's professor of Arabic 1813, and principal Magdalen Hall 1813, until his death 24 Jan., 1868.
