St. John's Coll., matric. 27 March, 1832, aged 17; scholar Lincoln Coll. 1834-6, B.A. 1835, M.A. 1838, B. & D.D. 1857, select preacher 1869, minister of Park Chapel, Chelsea, rector of St. Martin's, Birmingham, 1846-66, hon. canon Worcester 1852, canon 1871-3, treasurer 1871-3, vicar of Greenwich 1866, and canon of Rochester 1873, until his death 11 July, 1880.
