Popham, Alexander, s. Alexander, of Monkton, Somerset, cler. Balliol Coll., matric. 11 Nov., 1746, aged 17; B.A. from All Souls' Coll. 1751, M.A. 1755, bar.-at-law, Middle Temple 1755, bencher 1785, a master High Court of Chancery 1786-1802, auditor of the duchy of Lancaster, M.P. Taunton 1765-80, and 1784-96, died 13 Oct., 1810, buried in the Temple Church.
