Anthony Adams Reilly (or Adams-Reilly)
(1834–1885)
Mountaineer, painter, cartographer, and geographer. Climbing partner of Edward Whymper on the first ascents of the Aiguille d'Argentière and Mount Dolent in 1864. Joint-author of Life and Letters of James David Forbes.[1][2]
This author wrote articles for the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica.
