Antonio Fogazzaro (1842–1911)

See biography. Antonio Fogazzaro is one of most important Italian writers of the late Eighteen Hundred and early Nineteen Hundred. Although a faithful catholic, some of his works were not appreciated by the Roman Hierarchy. He was involved with the Modernist movement.
