Brigham Young
(1801–1877)
The second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Best remembered for leading his people from Illinois to Utah. First governor of Utah. His predecessor was Joseph Smith, Jr. His successor was John Taylor (1808-1887).
