Carl Adolf Feilberg
(1844–1887)
Carl Feilberg was arguably the most prominent political commentator and newspaper editor in Queensland in his time. His death in October 1887 was received with an amount of strongly worded obituaries and expressions of grief, which was to remain extraordinary as well as unprecedented for any Queensland journalist of his era.
