Johanne Lohmann
(1902–2000)

German politician whose life story is related in the page "Johanne Lohmann" in Wikipedia (German language) visited Wilmington/Del (USA) in 1951. She belonged to a group of German women who were invited by the Women's Bureau of the U.S. Department of Labor in cooperation with the State Department and 10 US Women organizations. The speech "Women's responsibility in today's world" was delivered by her at a meeting of YWCA in Wilmington/Del in November 1951, her address "WORLD COMMUNITY DAY" in October 1951, both at Wilminton/Delaware (USA).
