Captain in H. M. Royal Navy. Nautical Assessor to Court of Appeal since 1906. Conservator of the river Humber. Staff Commander, Medway Fleet Reserve. Author of The Mariner's Compass in an Iron Ship.[1]
This author wrote articles for the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica.
