Theætetus of Athens
(c. 417 BCE – c. 369 BCE)

Classical Greek mathematician, contemporary of Plato and like him also student of Theodorus. His principal contributions were on irrational lengths (included in Book X of Euclid's Elements) and in proving that there are precisely five regular convex polyhedra.
