Saint[edit]

In his books' pages doesn't say Saint, please add them

Not sure I understand the 'Saint' comment above... is this comment outdated? --Mkoyle 02:33, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neoplatonists[edit]

[[Category:Neoplatonists]]... according to Wikipedia:Neoplatonism, Augustine was not necessarily a neoplatonist; rather he was influenced by the neoplatonists. Since the category doesn't exist anyway, I deleted it from the article and figured I would make a quick note here. If he was a neoplatonist, fixing wikipedia's article and creating the category would be appropriate. --Mkoyle 02:33, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

New headings and texts[edit]

Someone else imported a large library of texts and somehow never got it linked up to Augustine... so I went through and crudely linked the files up. Unfortunately, the formatting and order of the texts, not to mention the choppy nature of putting these works into 'chapters' when they might be separated into books means they don't really read too well. Any suggestions or modifications to clean this up are welcome. --Mkoyle 05:35, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

On Free Choice of the Will[edit]

On Free Choice of the Will was deleted, apparently because it has a similar title to something under the Pelagian Controversy (On Grace and Free Will). As far as I can tell, either the editor accidentally deleted the wrong work OR assumed that since Free Will is in both titles, the works were the same. Anyway, I compared On Grace and Free Will above with On Free Choice of the Will at questia.com and these works are only related in the sense that they both discuss free will and are both by Augustine of Hippo--so I added the link back into the list. --Mkoyle 05:03, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Me and my bumbling about. It was deleted because it appeared earlier as 'On Free Choice'... so I undid what I had done and changed the earlier reference to the commonly-used full title On Free Choice of the Will'. In my defense, I happened to search the article for "Will" (rather than free) and that is why I didn't notice the first reference until later. Live and learn ;) --Mkoyle 05:30, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
