I've also had a go at tracking E. Purser down as a result of Noracrentiss' work. He was involved in various mining ventures. He also ran for Mayor in Blenheim and won. He served for just over a year but he was sued by a German mining company after acting as a middle name in dealings with them which involved worthless gold claims on the west coast. He ended up becoming bankrupt.
