LIVETT.—On Aug. 9, 1951, passed peacefully to his rest after a long illness, at Stoneleigh, Canterbury, the Rev. Canon G. M. Livett, B.A., F.S.A., Canon Emeritus of Rochester, sometimes Precenter, Honorary Canon of Rochester, and Vicar of Wateringbury, Kent, age 92 years. Funeral service at St. Martin's, Canterbury, on Monday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m., followed by cremation at Charing at 11 a.m., private. No mourning or flowers, by his request.
