Background[edit]
Not that well documented, but he married Ada Mary de la Mare, sister of Walter de la Mare the author; who married Elfrida Constance Ingpen. She was the daughter (ODNB) of William Alfred Ingpen, died 1888, Clerk of the Rules of the Court for the Relief of Insolvent Debtors. And I think I've made out that William Alfred Ingpen was Roger Ingpen's father. They shared a London address, 3 Pountney Road. Charles Matthews (talk) 08:01, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
Confirmed from Theresa Whistler's biography of de la Mare. And the father is also the amateur artist W. A. Ingpen (Boase, Modern Biography). Charles Matthews (talk) 09:04, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
