Rufus W. Weeks Dies, Ex-Insurance Offiical

Tarrytown, N. Y., April 18.—(AP)—Rufus Wells Weeks, 83, a former vice-president of the New York Life Insurance Company, died today at his home here.

Mr. Weeks, who had resided in this section for more more than 25 years, lived for many years in Pocantico Hills where he built the house that later was purcashed by John D. Rockefeller Sr., and is now the home of John D. Rockefeller,Jr.
