Authorship of the DNB byline?[edit]

I merged the Author:Thomas Greer (reverend) placeholder here because the description here lists both that this Thomas Greer was the nephew of Samuel Greer and that he contributed to the DNB with those initials, but I'm now having second thoughts. Namely, the footnote gives the nephew the title "Dr T. Greer" while the list of authors at the beginning names T.G. as "The Rev. Thomas Greer"; I'd expect them to use one title or the other, but not alternate like that. If the article is a collaboration between two different T. Greers, Author:Thomas Macgregor Greer (1853-1928) could easily be either, as his obituary lists both "a distinguished degree" in law (though I don't know 19th century education/solicitor titles) and leading(?) a committee in the Irish Presbyterian Church. Does anyone have anything to disambiguate it, or clarify that they're one and the same? The Wikidata page says that 1853 was T.G., though I don't know where that info was sourced from (the two projects should be aligned one way or another).
