Executive Order 291

Clause 9 of Subdivision I, of Schedule A, civil service rules, is hereby amended by adding the following words: "except those in the Customs Service," so that as amended the clause will read: "All positions in Alaska which can not be filled from appropriate existing registers, except those in the Customs Service."

In Subdivision II, of Schedule A, insert a new clause, as follows:

"In the Alaska Customs Service all persons appointed or employed for the season of navigation only," these amendments to be effective on and after March 1, 1905.
