W.M Letts (an English poet) died in 1972 (so not PD outside the US). Noted publication was published in the US in 1917 according to http://archive.org/details/spiresoxfordand00lettgoog
2 Messrs. Longmans, Green & Company for the poem " Pomona," by William Morris; Expired - Morris died in 1896
2 and to the Editors of The Independent for the use of five poems. Unclear-
The Independent is a US Publication, and it is reasonable to proceed on the basis that these were published prior to 1919. Identification of the specific poems would be appreciated.

First publication for Letts' poem[edit]

@ShakespeareFan00: According to Winifred Mary Letts, Letts' "Hallowe'en" was first published in the collection Hallowe'en and Other Poems of the War (1916). I've not been able to track down a copy of it. But if it was first published in the US, or published there within 30 days of UK publication, all the above parts of this work will be "US" works for copyright purposes (and PD due to publication before 1925). --Xover (talk) 20:26, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
