Death of Rev William Bullen Morris.

Keen regret has been occasioned in Tralee by the announcement of the death of the Rev William Bullen Morris, of the Oratory London, Sunday, after an illness of about twelve days duration. The deceased clergyman was the second son of the Hon Patrick Morris, of St. John's Newfoundland, and Frances, daughter of Dr. Wm. Bullen, Cork. He was born on the 23rd March, 1834, was educated at Clongoes, where he had a very distinguished career, and joined the Oratory at St. Philip's Neri, at the age of twenty. He was one of Father Faber's first companions, and was ordained priest at the age of twenty-three.' His life was one of great holiness and earnest devotion: to the duties off his sacred calling—the poor and suffering being the principal objects duties of his care. Amidst his arduous duties he found time to write some learned and attractive works, including a life of St. Patrick, which elicited warm encomiums from the literary world, and "Ireland and Saint Patrick," a work showing deep historical research. He also contributed many articles to the Dublin Review, and the 'Irish Ecclesiastical Record'. Though having to live out of Ireland he was deeply devoted to the Green Isle. His death was as peaceful and happy as a his life had been edifying and holy. He passed peacefully away, surrounded by his brethren in religion, and fortified by the rites of the Holy Church. He was brother to the late Lady Donovan, of Tralee, and uncle to Mr St. John Henry Donovan, J.P., Chairman of the Kerry County Council. The funeral will take place on Thursday.
