Bagnall-Wild, Ralph Bagnall, M.A., Gonville and Caius Coll., Camb., 1871, B.A., eighteenth wrangler 1868, a member of the Northern circuit, assumed the surnames of Bagnall-Wild in lieu of his patronymic by royal licence 23 Nov., 1868, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Nov., 1866 (then aged 21), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1870 (2nd son of William Kirkby, Esq., of Brooke House, Waterloo, Liverpool); born 23 March, 1845; married 4 July, 1871, Alice, youngest dau. of late Richard Adolph Pfeil, Esq., of Boxgrove, Surrey, and has issue.
