Bateman, Rowland Jones, M.A. (late fellow) New Coll., Oxon, equity draftsman and conveyancer, a student of Lincoln's Inn 25 Jan., 1848 (then aged 21), went to the Inner Temple 17 and called to the bar there 30 April, 1852 (2nd son of John Jones Bateman, Esq., of Lincoln's Inn, and of Portman Place, Middlesex); born , 1827; married 12 Aug., 1858, Jessy Jane Marianne, eldest dau. of Col. William Burlton, C.B.
