Campbell-Davys, William Davys Harries, J.P., D.L. Brecon, J.P., D.L. cos. Argyll and Carmarthen (high sheriff 1850), assumed the additional surname of Campbell in 1847, undergrad. Trin. Coll., Oxon, a student of the Middle Temple 8 June, 1833, called to the bar 10 June, 1836 (only son of Rev. David Harries-Davys, M.A., J.P., rector of Meline, co. Pembroke); born , ; married July, 1847, Elizabeth Jane, only child of Peter Campbell, Esq., of Askomel, co. Argyll.
