Chalmers, Mackenzie Dalzell Edwin Stewart, M.A. Trin. Coll., Oxon, county court judge Birmingham Sept., 1884, went the Southeastern circuit, revising barrister for Greenwich and junior counsel to the Board of Trade till Sept., 1884, assisted in drafting the new Bankruptcy Act and the Judicature Act, equity lecturer to Incorporated Law Society 1881-2, author of A Digest of the Law of Bills of Exchange, joint editor of Corner's Crown Practice and of Wilson's Supreme Court of Judicatitre Acts and Rules, late B.C.S., a student of the Inner Temple 16 April, 1866 (then aged 19), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1869 (2nd son of Rev. Frederick Skene Courtnay Chalmers, rector of Beckenham, Kent); born, 1847.
