Coll., Camb., 1843, a student of the Inner Temple 4 June, 1838 (then aged 20), called to the bar 27 Jan., 1843, patent of precedence 8 July, 1854, called to the bench 21 Nov., 1854 (eldest son of John Collier, Esq., M.P., of Plymouth); born 21 June, 1817; married 19 April, 1844, Isabella, dau. of William Rose Rose, Esq., of Woolston Heath, co. Warwick, and has issue.
