Coll., Oxon, 1839, recorder of Bridgnorth 10 March, 1871, district registrar of probate division 1858, a student of the Inner Temple 11 Nov., 1837 (then aged 24), called to the bar 20 Nov., 1840 (only son of William Henry Cope, Esq., of Holbeache, co. Stafford); born 20 Oct., 1813; married 15 Sept., 1842, Charlotte, youngest dau. of late George Stevens, Esq., of Old Windsor Lodge, Berks, and died 8 Jan., 1885.
