Sir Richard Assheton Cross, M.P., P.C., of Eccle Riggs, Broughton-in-Furness, Lancashire); born 22 Aug., 1856; married , 1880, Mary, younger dau. of late William Lewthwaite, Esq., of Broadgate, Cumberland.
