Darwin, George Howard, F.R.S., M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1871, fellow, second wrangler, Plumian professor of astronomy and experimental philosophy in the Univ. of Camb., a student of Lincoln's Inn 21 April, 1868 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1872 (2nd son of late Charles Robert Darwin, Esq., F.RS., of Down, Kent); born 9 July, 1845; married July, 1884, Maud, dau. of Charles du Puy, of Philadelphia.
