Dering, George Edwardes, B.A., Magdalen Coll., Oxon, 1863, recorder of Faversham since 1872, assessor of Romney, a member of the South-eastern circuit, educated at Winchester, a student of the Middle Temple 11 Nov., 1861, called to the bar 9 June, 1865 (3rd son of Sir Edward Dering, of Surrenden Dering, Kent, Bart.); born 12 Jan., 1841; married 1st, , 1868, Jane Alice, dau. of late Thomas Taylor, Esq.; she died 13 June, 1874; he married 2ndly, 12 Jan., 1882, Pauline, eldest dau. of late Rev. William Lewis Mason, chaplain in Mauritius, etc., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
