Fearon, Daniel Robert, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1862, assistant charity commissioner since 1875 and acting secretary since 1883, inspector of schools since 1860, assistant commissioner to the Schools Inquiry Commission and Endowed Schools Commission 1865-74, author of School Inspection, a student of Lincoln's Inn 19 Nov., 1859 (then aged 23), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1874 (eldest son of Rev. Daniel Rose Fearon, of Assington, Suffolk); born 1 Dec., 1835; married 2 July, 1861, Margaret Arnold, 2nd dau. of Bonamy Price, hon. fell. Worcester Coll., and professor of political economy Univ. of Oxford.
