Guise, Francis Edward, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1844, recorder of Hereford since 1862, clerk of the peace for Gloucestershire, stipendiary magistrate Chatham and Sheerness 1867-77, a student of Lincoln's Inn 25 Jan., 1843 (then aged 22), called to the bar 24 Nov., 1846 (3rd son of Sir John Guise, Bart.); born 20 April, 1820; married 13 June, 1848, Henrietta, dau. of Sir James Rivett-Carnac, 1st bart., M.P., late governor of Bombay, dec., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
