Jenkyns, Henry, C.B., assistant parliamentary counsel to the treasury since 1869 (Home Office since 1882), M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1863, joint author of Trademarks and Trade Names, a student of Lincoln's Inn 6 Nov., 1860 (then aged 22), called to the bar 6 June, 1863 (eldest son of late Rev. Henry Jenkyns, of Durham, D.D.); born , 1838; married 3 April, 1877, Madalene Sabine, youngest dau. of late Admiral Sir Thomas Sabine Pasley, Bart., K.C.B. (see Foster's Baronetage).
