Pollard, Edward Hutchinson (Q.C. Hong Kong 1865), a member of the South-eastern circuit, formerly member of executive and legislative councils Hong Kong, and acting attorney-general of that colony, a student of the Middle Temple 24 Jan., 1855, called to the bar 30 April, 1858 (eldest son of Edward Hutchinson Pollard, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, sometime of Sydney, New South Wales, merchant, dec.); born 3 Oct., 1829.
