Pollock, George Frederick, a master of the supreme court since 1879, a master of the court of exchequer 185—-79, a student of the Inner Temple 30 May, 1837 (then aged 15), called to the bar 9 June, 1843 (3rd son of Sir Frederick Pollock, Bart., late lord chief baron of the court of exchequer, dec.); born 1 June, 1821; married 18 Dec., 1851, Frances Diana, eldest dau. of late Rev. Henry Herbert, rector of Rathdowney, King's Co., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
