Pooley, Henry Fletcher, M.A. St. John's Coll., Camb., senior optime and 2nd class classical tripos, McMahon law student 1866, examiner in the education department since 1874, a member of the Midland circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 27 Oct., 1863 (then aged 22), called to the bar 11 June, 1867 (eldest son of Rev. John Henry Pooley, rector of Scotter, co. Linc.); born 2 Feb., 1841; married 10 Nov., 1874, Susan, dau. of late Edward Bond, Esq., of Hampstead.
