Price, Edwin Plumer, Q.C., B.A., Lincoln Coll., Oxon, 1838, judge of county courts (circuit No. 32) since 1874, recorder of York since 1866, a student of the Inner Temple 5 May, 1837 (then aged 19), called to the bar 29 Jan., 1841, Q.C. 25 Feb., 1861 (called to the bench 30 April, 1861, but declined the honour) (2nd son of Thomas Price, of Clementhorpe Hall, near York); born 13 March, 1818; married , 1841, Lucy, eldest dau. and co-heir of John Harrison, Esq., of Ripley, Surrey.
