Prideaux, Charles Greville, Q.C, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1834, F.R.A.S., a member of the Western circuit, recorder of Bristol and judge of the Bristol Tolzey and Pie Poudre Courts since Dec., 1879, recorder of Helston 1868-76, of Exeter 1876-9, a barrister for trial of municipal election petitions since 1875, a commissioner for municipal election petitions for 1884, author of A Practical Guide to Duties of Churchwardens, Registration of Voters Act, a student of Lincoln's Inn 4 May, 1832 (then aged 21), called to the bar there 3 May, 1836, admitted a barrister of the Middle Temple ad eundem 4 March, 1847, Q.C. 15 Dec., 1866, bencher of Lincoln's Inn 11 Jan., 1867 (eldest son of Neart Grevile Prideaux, of Bristol, gent.); born 19 Dec., 1810; married , , Catharine Ann, dau. of late Rev. Noblett Ruddock, vicar of Stockland, Bristol, and Westbury-cum-Priddy, Somerset, and has issue.
