Rogers, Thomas Englesby, M.A. (late fellow). Corpus Christi Coll., Oxon, 1841, chancellor of the diocese of Bath and Wells since 1884, recorder of Wells since 1872, chairman second court Somerset quarter sessions since 1870, J.P. 1861, a student of Lincoln's Inn 2 Nov., 1843 (then aged 26), called to the bar 24 Nov., 1846 (eldest son of Francis Rogers, Esq., of Yarlington, Somerset); born 24 May, 1817; married 6 Aug., 1853, Elizabeth Hannah, dau. of John Stanger, Esq., of Tydd St. Mary, co. Linc., and has issue.
