Rylands, John Paul, F.S.A. author of The Holcroft Family, editor of Lancashire Inquisitiones Post-mortem, Lancashire and Cheshire Funeral Certificates, Visitations of Cheshire, Visitation of Dorset 1623, etc., a student of the Middle Temple 30 Jan., 1882, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1885 (elder son of Thomas Glazebrook Rylands, of Highfields, Thelwall, Cheshire); born 10 March, 1846; married 30 March, 1882, Mary Isabel, 2nd dau. of Nicholas Smith Glazebrook, Esq., of Hayman's Green, West Derby, and has issue (see Foster's Lancashire Collection).
