Scoble, Andrew Richard, Q.C., advocate-general and member of Legislative Council of Bombay 1870-7, educated at the City of London School, a student of Lincoln's Inn 21 Dec., 1852 (then aged 21), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1856, Q.C. 30 June, 1876, bencher 13 Jan., 1879 (2nd son of John Scoble, of Toronto, Canada, late of London, gent.); born 25 Sept., 1831; married 7 Dec., 1863, Augusta Harriette, only dau. of late Joseph Nicholson, Esq.
