Seymour, Hugh Francis, M.A. Trin. Coll., Camb., B.A. 1849, private secretary to (Mr. Dodson) president of Local Government Board 1880-3 and when chancellor of duchy of Lancaster 1883-4, a student of the Inner Temple 27 Jan., 1876 (then aged 20), called to the bar 9 June, 1880 (only son of Hugh Horatio Seymour, of London); born 23 Dec., 1855; married 15 April, 1884, Rachel Blanche, 2nd dau. of Rev. and Hon. James W. Lascelles, rector of Goldsborough, Yorks (see Foster's Peerage, M. Hertford).
