London Univ. 1876, B.Sc. 1874, B.A. 1872, and a member of Convocation, matric. 1870 from Amersham Hall School, auditor to that univ. since 1882, a member of the Oxford circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 18 Jan., 1873, studentship Hilary, 1875, called to the bar 17 Nov., 1875 (2nd son of Sir Peter Spokes, of Reading, Berks, Knt.); born 28 June, 1854 (see Foster's Baronetage).
