Stephens, Pembroke Scott, Q.C., of the parliamentary bar, joint author of Practice of Referees' Court, educated at Namar, Madrid and Dublin, a student of Lincoln's Inn 2 Aug., 1859 (then aged 25), called to the bar 11 June, 1862, Q.C. 18 Jan., 1882 (eldest son of late Edward Bell Stephens, Esq. of Dublin, "man of science of letters," and grandson of Edward Stephens, Esq., of Harcourt Lodge, Dubhn; born 1834.
