Thynne, Charles Ernest, assistant solicitor to H.M.'s customs since 1880, late scholar Christ Church, Oxon, a student of Lincoln's Inn 11 Feb., 1870 (then aged 20), called to the bar 30 April, 1874 (2nd son of Lord Charles Thynne); born 26 Feb., 1849; married 8 June, 1880, Annie Harriet, only dau. of Francis Seymour Haden, Esq., of London (see Foster's Peerage, M. Bath).
