Tidswell, Richard Thomas, M.A. Worcester Coll., Oxon, B.A. 1855, additional revising barrister 1868, deputy county court judge 1876-7, a member of the Northern circuit, author of The Innkeepers Legal Guide, joint author of Divorce Practice and Evidence, a student of the Inner Temple 19 Jan., 1854 (then aged 24), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1857 (3rd and youngest son of late Thomas Earnshaw Tidswell, Esq., of Withington, co. Lanc.); born March, 1830; married 6 Oct., 1877, Helen Catherine, younger dau. of late David William Nash, Esq., of the Middle Temple.
