Caithness and Orkney, author of A Treatise on the New Parishes Acts, a student of the Inner Temple 1 Nov., 1849 (then aged 23), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1853 (eldest son of late James Traill, Esq., bar.-at-law); born , 1826; married 6 Aug., 1857, Julia, 2nd dau. of late William Lambarde, Esq., of Sevenoaks, Kent, and has issue.
