Travis, Allen Cottrell, M.A., Emmanuel Coll., Camb., 1881, a member of the North-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 20 Nov., 1875 (then aged 23), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1880 (2nd son of Thomas Henry Travis, of Brough, Yorks, police magistrate Hull); born 31 May, 1852; unmarried.
