Tritton, Edward William, B.A., Christ Church, Oxon, 1869, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 24 Jan., 1868 (then aged 23), called to the bar 1 May, 1871 (2nd son of Henry Tritton, of London, banker); born , 1845; married 20 Sept., 1874, Hon. Alice Jane Verney, dau. of Robert John, 9th Baron Willoughby de Broke; she died 8 Jan., 1882, leaving issue (see Foster's Peerage).
